How We Test PM Tools
We create a realistic project scenario for every tool: a cross-functional product launch with 50 tasks, 4 team members, 3 milestones, and external stakeholders who need guest access. This mirrors how a mid-size team actually uses PM software.
Each tool gets a minimum two-week testing window. We build complete project structures, test every available view type, set up automations, assign and reassign tasks, and push notification systems to their limits. We specifically test what happens when plans change — because they always do.
Collaboration testing involves real multi-user scenarios. We invite team members, test comment threads, verify real-time updates, and measure how quickly changes propagate across views. Guest access is tested with actual client-facing scenarios.
