Editor's Take
Full disclosure: this entire website was built with Claude Code. That said, here is my honest assessment. Claude produces the best written content of any AI model I have tested. The writing feels more human, the analysis goes deeper, and the 200K context window means I can feed it entire codebases or long documents. Where ChatGPT has an edge is the ecosystem — custom GPTs, image generation, and plugins. For my daily work (writing, coding, analysis), Claude Pro at $20/month is my primary AI tool. For image generation and quick tasks, I still use ChatGPT. The ideal setup is both.
