What We Found
We checked this in April 2026 and here's what we found โ Obsidian's built-in File Recovery plugin saves snapshots of your files at configurable intervals (default: every 5 minutes). You can recover deleted or changed files from these snapshots. For more robust version control, the community Obsidian Git plugin integrates with Git for full version history with diffs.
